My title means "Red, yellow, black, white".

I don't know what got me thinking about it today, but I was thinking about interracial romance. Like, I don't understand how people can be so against dating outside of their race. There are soooo many beautiful people of every skin color. I mean I know there's more to loving somebody than appearances, and the reasons some people may have for that preference is because of cultural differences. Which I guess can be understandable in some cases. But, I really think that most people who don't date outside their race, choose not to because they think their own race "looks better".
*shrug* to each their own I guess though. Right?
Well personally I've seen hot guys (and girls, why fake?) of every ethnicity. It's strange because I'm not entirely fond of my own race, but I've definitely seen them. Like Vitolio, from the last season of So You Think You Can Dance? Ooooohhhhhh he was beautiful. And Boris Kodjoe, that one guy who was on Madea's Family Reunion.
And then there's the Caucasian guys. Ian Somerhalder, from Vampire Diaries. The first time I saw him I nearly passed out. His character is an unbelievable douchebag I almost feel bad for liking him XD
And Tom Felton who many know as Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter. At first I didn't really like him OR his character. But you know, since everyone's growing up now and stuff it's like DAAYYUUUMMM. Haha.
Most of my friends know how I get about my Asians. There are sooo many beautiful Asian guys. I love Jaejoong from DBSK, (Excuse the cliche but) he just looks like an angel! And Bi Rain, man I love his music but I love staring at him just a liiiitle bit more.
This makes me feel half-assed, but I can't think of anyone specific from any other ethnicity that I found hot. But I have seen them, definitely. Hispanics, Native Americans, etc. I know they're there.

Man, this post was dumb. I was expecting it to be a little more deep, but I guess I really just wanted to post something. *shrug*
On a side note, I just saw the movie The Orphan today. I'm still trippin over it, cuz it was such a good movie. It was crazyyyy.

Happy Halloween!

So even though this year, my Halloween is freaking boring. It's good because I love this holiday! I love candy, and dressing up in costumes! love Halloween movies like Hocus Pocus, Casper, The Addams Family, and of course, The Nightmare Before Christmas! (none of that Freddy Krueger and Jason tomfoolery, I watch the light-hearted stuff) I'm watching it now as a matter of fact, on Starz. I really wanted to be Alice in Wonderland this year, I saw this costume that was just too kyoot! Maybe I'll have better luck next year. Since I haven't really been able to do anything this year I've just been collecting Halloween-themed pictures, ALOT of them.
Maybe if I'm lucky, I can get to Walmart and buy a whole bunch of discounted Halloween candy within the next few days.

Well, I'm not that talkative today, so I'm going to post this mini-rant that I made yesterday:

"I get frustrated when people say that they don’t celebrate Halloween for ‘religious reasons’. Like, “It’s the devil’s birthday!” and all that tomfoolery. Where do people get this from? How would anyone know when the devil’s birthday is?? Anyway, Halloween is originally a religious holiday anyway (the eve of All Saints’ Day). So to say that you don’t celebrate it because it’s “evil” is a load of crap. And even religion aside, what is evil about eating candy (besides cavities, of course, which are avoidable) and dressing up in costumes? That’s 99.9% of the holiday right there. Another thing that annoys me (and I know this all too well because my church did this), is when the church doesn’t want the parents to take their kids trick-or-treating with their friends, so instead, they have an event at the church. “Spooky Holy Spirit Night” or something like that. In which they give out candy, let the kids come in costumes, do the whole bobbing for apples ordeal, basically all the things associated with Halloween ANYWAY…even though Halloween is supposedly ‘evil’. Oh, but it’s okay, because the church is doing these things. If it was outside of church it would be evil. JUST SAYIN’…just sayin’…

*halloween-specific-rant over*"

Happy Samhain!

Harry Potter and the Double Standard

So today in my creative writing group we had a discussion about "taboos in writing", which eventually led to us talking about banned books and such things. This led to a discussion on Harry Potter and how everyone thinks he (or J.K. Rowling, rather) is the Antichrist and all that tomfoolery. One girl, Monique (who is SO gangster, but going back to the point), talked about a pastor she met who abhorred Harry Potter, but was obsessed with Lord of the Rings. This reminded me of someone I know and it set me off on a mental rant that I now have to express via Xanga.

Now, of course I understand that as far as Christianity goes, witchcraft is basically a no-no. But if you really do believe this, it makes more sense (to me anyway) to condemn any books that deal with witchcraft and the like, not just one.

The person I was talking about before, who reminded me of the pastor Monique spoke of, we got into a little debate about the subject. Well, it wasn't technically an argument so much as, we started talking about it, then dropped the subject when we realized that an argument would go nowhere. Basically I was watching the preview for Harry Potter and the HBP, and I asked him if he would see it with me. He said no, because it was "against his religion", but he is a fan of Lord of the Rings, which you know (if you've seen the movies/read the books) has wizards in it. When I bring that up he responds to this by pointing out that J.R.R. Tolkien was a Christian.

Hm, okay. Well in my eyes, he just presented me with a nice little double standard. If you are a Christian author and you write about witchcraft and wizardry, that's perfectly okay. But otherwise? No sir! You are trying to corrupt children and get them to worship Satan. Yup yup.
He then proceeded to inform me that J.K. Rowling wanted to show children that witchcraft isn't a bad thing. Well...of course it isn't! It's not real! Yes there are pagans and Wicca and such in our society that is considered "witchcraft"...
But Quidditch? House elves and Horcruxes? It's OBVIOUSLY not real! Harry Potter is a work of fiction, written for enjoyment and nothing else. Yet some people feel the need to (literally!) burn the books because of the 'profound evil hidden in its depths'...please.

*sigh* Rant over.

Just for the heck of it.

Like the title says, just updating my xanga for the heck of it.

I'm feeling really hostile right now and I don't know why. gbslhbhvslhgbsgk.

Let's see, took my Thanatos midterm today. I hate how you study for a test, and that ONE thing that you didn't study for w/e reason, is on majority of the test. Once again I say fbaigbsjgkabishdjdnsjn.

In general life is pretty ok. Going home next Saturday (YAAAYYYY!), and I'm gonna be home until the following Tuesday. Plenty of time to get my Chick-Fil-A AND my Coldstone, BAM!

The creative writing group has been going well. The people there are sooo nice, and they gave me so much positive feedback on everything I've read to them so far. It makes me

It's strange how the second I start going to college, where I should be watching LESS tv, I now have like, a schedule of shows to watch XD.
Mon - Fri = Tyra show
Mon = Lie to Me
Tue = So You Think You Can Dance?
Wed = SYTYCD? & America's Next Top Model
Thu = Vampire Diaries & Project Runway
Fri = Degrassi (I just recently started watching this show, it is SO F*CKING FAKE CORNY but I can't stop watching it!)
Sun = Cleveland Show & Family Guy
Then on Saturdays I can watch new Inuyasha episodes online, GAAHHH I was so excited when I found out they were finally releasing new episodes in Japan! *finished geeking out*

So I'm now addicted to this website called tumblr.com, I don't know exactly WHY I'm addicted, but I just am. For the most part it's posting pictures of random stuff, once you get past the every-once-in-a-while porn that randomly attacks you, it's pretty cool.

I feel like I have ADD, now.

I'm looking at schools to transfer to that are in-state, don't know if I'll have enough credits to transfer to Towson, but I'm still gonna try and look at other options. I just now, for what Im dealing with here, I might as well have just gone to PG, I mean this is a two-year college anyway so...

Did I mention that I'm thinking about going back to graphic design, but for a minor instead of a major? Nyeeeehhh. I've just been pondering whether or not I have the patience to be a psychologist. As far as dealing with "difficult patients" who were forced to have psychiatric help for w/e reason. If you want my help then I'm happy to help, but if you don't wanna cooperate, then you can get the f*ck outta my face. I think I'll lose my temper with a difficult patient.

So yeah, I think I'm done with my random word-vomiting for now.
No wait, one more thing. I really wanna get highlights again. This time, if not purple, then dark red or blue (the two colors that make purple XD). And I want to get a tattoo on my back...and a nose ring! I feel so unconventional nowadays!

Ja ne!

"I'm just insecure"

I'm tired of young, promiscuous teenagers using this as an excuse for their actions. I mean you've got those that realize what they do, and admit that they just have a problem. You've got those that admit it and just don't care. You've got those that know what they're doing and just don't care. But I think even that's slightly better than making up some bs, saying 'insecurity' is the reason why you sleep around. Okay so your friends tell you that you're unattractive or ugly, so when someone wants to sleep with you, you're ready, willing, and able...hm...well for one thing it sounds like you need to get some new friends, obviously! What 'friend' tells you that you're ugly?
Then there are the ones, who maybe no one really told them that they were unattractive or anything like that, but they themselves think that something's wrong with them for whatever reason. So they use this as an excuse to sleep with any person that asks them. Something along the lines of "Well I'm not beautiful/handsome...I'm too fat/skinny...so when someone wants to screw sleep with me, it makes me feel better about myself,"
What I find strange about that type of thinking is this: If you are so insecure about your appearance, your body, or whatever, why would you be so comfortable with letting someone else (or rather MANY different people) see you in ALL of your "naturalness"?
Do any of these kids realize that it's more likely than not, that these 'miracle partners' in their lives aren't genuinely attracted to them? They just want to get LAID. They tell you what you want to hear so they can get what they want out of you
Just, for the love of god, have some standards.
